Since the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPs Agreement) was included as one of the agreements of the World Trade Organization (WTO), the world has realized that Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) have become one of the key elements of the world economy. The rapid advance of high technology, especially in the information field and communication field, has made IPRs more important. Further, IPRs have become unavoidably necessary in relation to human interactions, commercial activities and the relation among nations. Indonesia, as one of the developing countries in the world which is a member of WTO, takes roles to succeed IPRs both in national and international scope, one of them is by ratifying several International Conventions and endorsing Acts in the field of IPRs.
